Hello ! My name is Chithra

& I Lead ideas, shape stories and inspire change

I’m a product leader driven by the belief that every problem carries the seed of its solution, and every challenge is an opportunity to create something extraordinary. Growing up in India and earning my Master’s degree from the Ivy League at Cornell University, my journey has been shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a relentless passion for solving real-world problems.

As a product manager and leader, I’ve spent years bridging the gap between technology and people’s needs—leading teams, launching initiatives, and crafting products that don’t just work but inspire. For me, product management is about building connections, creating opportunities, and delivering solutions that leave a lasting impact.

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." – Steve Jobs

I believe in the power of bold ideas and the determination to bring them to life.

The Journey That Shaped Me

My story begins in India, where I discovered my passion for leadership and problem-solving through various captaincy roles at my school. Leadership, for me, wasn’t just a title—it was a responsibility to inspire others, drive innovation, and create lasting change. In college, I expanded this ethos by chairing the IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch, organizing TEDx events, collaborating with the UN, and leading entrepreneurship programs. These experiences reinforced a crucial lesson: great ideas require bold action, and true impact comes from turning vision into reality through collaboration and determination.

To further this ambition, I pursued my Master’s degree at Cornell University, where I refined my expertise in product strategy, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making. As Vice President of the Cornell Graduate Product Management Club, I fostered connections between aspiring PMs and industry leaders, and as a teaching assistant, I helped others see the transformative potential of building something meaningful.

This mindset shaped my work at Infosys, where I led cross-functional teams across countries, developed systems that enhanced efficiency and built automated solutions that saved hours of manual effort. I discovered a passion for building solutions and creating strategies that align technology with people’s needs.

Why I’m Passionate About Product Management

Because products are about people. A product’s success isn’t measured by its features or functionality—it’s about how it makes people feel, how it solves their problems, and how it becomes part of their lives.

  • At Volvo, I mapped out product strategies to integrate quantum computing into vehicle cybersecurity, ensuring data protection and setting the course for the future of connected trucks. This strategic approach directly supported a $50M initiative and helped guide long-term product development.

  • At NeuroLeap, I took user feedback seriously—building workflows that aligned with customer needs, conducting A/B testing to optimize performance, and creating dashboards to uncover actionable insights.

  • At Infosys, I led the development of a data transfer system, orchestrating data flow across telecom networks and improving efficiency by 80%. I also designed automation solutions using Python and Selenium, reducing manual testing time by 90% and streamlining operations. These experiences taught me how to build impactful solutions that drive operational efficiency while keeping user needs at the core.

Every challenge excites me. Every user pain point is an opportunity to innovate. And every product is a chance to make someone’s life a little easier, a little better.

What Sets Me Apart?

Empathy-driven leadership: I don’t just lead teams—I bring people together around a shared vision, ensuring every voice is heard.

A dynamic mindset: I thrive in fast-paced environments where adaptability is key. Give me a problem, and I’ll find creative, actionable solutions that deliver results.

A storyteller’s soul: Whether presenting a business case at Volvo’s Global Edge Talk or crafting PRDs for complex systems at Infosys, I’ve mastered the art of simplifying complexity and inspiring action.

Life Beyond

A storyteller at heart: Writing, public speaking, and even photography allow me to weave narratives that resonate with people.

An explorer: Traveling inspires me. It reminds me of the vastness of human experience and how every interaction can spark a new idea.

A visual thinker: Filmmaking and photography aren’t just hobbies—they’re ways to see the world differently and bring a fresh perspective to my work.

I’m more than a product manager—I’m a storyteller, an adventurer, and a lifelong learner.

I love trying new things, tackling challenges head-on, and building connections that matter. Life is dynamic, and I embrace every opportunity to grow and contribute.

Let’s Connect

I’m always looking for opportunities to collaborate, create, and learn. If you’re looking for someone who sees challenges as stepping stones, has the skills to lead with empathy and innovation, and is committed to delivering impact—you’ve found her.
